Jay Street Paving Set for Tuesday in Lock Haven
Lock Haven – A one-day paving job on Jay Street (Route120) in Lock Haven is set for Tuesday, July 31. Crews will be milling and paving from Church Street to the Jay Street Bridge during daylight hours. Resurfacing the road will lengthen its useful life and improve the ride quality for area drivers and cyclists.
An alternating traffic pattern will be in place during daylight hours and drivers can expect to encounter flaggers on the roadway and short travel delays. All work is weather and schedule dependent but PennDOT expects work to be complete in one day.
Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College is the contractor for this work, which is part of a $4.9 million contract to address 14 routes in Centre and Clinton counties.
Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, proceed through work zones with caution, and always buckle up.
