- Scope of Work
- The main function of this project is to replace the 335 foot long structurally deficient viaduct on SR 51, West Carson Street, near the railroad overpass between Corliss Street and McKees Rocks.
- Additional corridor improvements include:
- Replacement of the viaduct
- Lowering the profile grade in the viaduct area
- Sidewalk repairs/replacement
- Improve drainage
- Utility relocation
- Curb/barrier replacement
- Retaining wall repairs
- The roadway corridor will be completely re-constructed from the West End Circle to McKee's Rocks
- Estimated Construction Cost - $23,000,000
Proposed Construction Schedule
- Begin – Spring 2013
- Complete – Winter 2014
