Indiana, Pa. - PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that construction work will begin on the State Route (SR) 259 bridge as part of the Ewing’s Mills Bridge #2 project over a tributary of Yellow Creek Lake in Cherryhill Valley Township, Indiana County, on Monday, August 3, 2009. The anticipated completion date of this project is mid-November, 2009. During construction there will be one lane of traffic alternating in each direction using temporary signals.
Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. They are also asked to slow down and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed.
The project is being completed by Lone Pine Construction, Inc.
