Indiana, Pa. - PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that the Slate Lick Park and Ride project, located at the intersection of Route (SR) 128 and SR 28a, is planned to begin work on Monday, March 30, 2009. The project involves the addition of a Park and Ride area near the Slate Lick interchange in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. The project is planned for completion on Friday, May 8, 2009.
During the time of construction there will be minor alternating lane closures. Traffic delays should be minimal. Motorists are advised to anticipate minor delays and be prepared to stop. They are also asked to slow down and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed.
This is a $ 171,000 project with work being performed by Lane Construction Corporation.
