Projects Funded by American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
INDIANA - PennDOT District 10 announced today that because American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project bids came in less than expected, additional recovery projects are being added to the five-county District 10 area, bringing the total ARRA investment in the region to $65.3 million.
The four additional projects are:
--Installation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps along State Route 322 in Clarion Borough, Clarion County;
--Restoration of SR 422 (Indiana Bypass) in Armstrong, Center and White Townships, Indiana County;
--Installation of ADA compliant curb ramps along SR 28 in Brockway, Jefferson County;
--The resurfacing of SR 436 in Young Township and Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County.
PennDOT also added the SR 403, Clymer Bridge project in Indiana County to the list of projects funded with ARRA dollars.
Due to these additional projects, PennDOT will have awarded 31 ARRA projects totaling $65.3 million in the five-county District 10 area, which includes Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana and Jefferson counties.
