|PennDOT updates the SR 422 Judge Graff Bridge Project in Armstrong County |
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that the State Route (SR) 422 Judge Graff Bridge will open to normal traffic in mid-December. The bridge carries SR 422 (Benjamin Franklin Highway) over the Allegheny River in North Buffalo/Manor Townships, Armstrong County.
Traffic has been reduced to one lane in each direction since April 2010. Once the work is finished for the season, the bridge will return to normal traffic until Spring 2011. Work will continue on the bridge in the Spring with the completion expected by the end of October 2012.
This $12,112,804 rehabilitation project includes repairs of expansion dams and substructure as well as painting. Work is being completed by North Star Painting Company, Inc.
