ROUTE 2025 REOPENS AFTER BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
Indiana, Pa. - PennDOT Engineering District 10 is announcing the reopening of Route 2025 (Spring Church Road) in Manor Township, Armstrong County, with the completion of the Garrett's Run Bridge #3 replacement project.
The road will reopen after 9 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2006. The road has been closed since May 22 to allow crews to replace the previous thru-girder bridge that carries Route 2025 over Garrett’s Run with a new prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge. The $968,000 project also included the relocation of several overhead utility lines and poles, two underground utility lines and one private driveway.
The detour using routes 2012 (Silvis Hollow Road), 422, 4422 and 2011 (Old Route 66) will end when the new bridge opens. |
