|Project Funded by American Recovery and Reinvestment Act|
INDIANA - PennDOT Engineering District 10 announced today that another American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project has been awarded in Jefferson County.
PennDOT awarded Quaker Sales Corporation of Johnstown, Cambria County, a $1.62 million contract to resurface over four miles of State Route (SR) 36 between the intersection of SR 436 (Lincoln Street) and a point approximately 0.5 mile south of the village of Markton.
Overall, PennDOT will award 26 ARRA projects totaling $57.67 million in the five-county District 10 area this year which includes Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana and Jefferson Counties.
