SR 310 Superstructure Replacements - Reynoldsville Bridges Open

State Route 310 Group Superstructure Replacements (Reynoldsville Bridges) open to traffic in Jefferson County

Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that the State Route (SR) 310 Bridges over Trout Run and Soldier Run will open to traffic Monday, September 20, 2010. The bridges are located between Firetower Road and SR 322 near the town of Reynoldsville in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

The bridge superstructure replacement project included removal of existing superstructures, substructure rehabilitation, new superstructure, and roadway approach work. The bridges were restricted/closed in March and a posted 11-foot width restriction was in place for Trout Run Bridge, and detour for Soldier Run Bridge was set in place. The width restriction and detour were lifted.

This is a $1,155,156 group project (two structures – Trout Run Bridge and Soldier Run Bridge) to provide bridge superstructure replacement for these structures, with work being completed by Francis J. Palo, Inc., Clarion County.

For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, access PennDOT District 10’s website at www.dot.state.pa.us/district10.
