INDIANA (January 3, 2006) – PennDOT Engineering District 10 has named Dave Edwards the January Employee of the Month.
Edwards, the District Office Bridge Maintenance Coordinator, has been with PennDOT for more than 33 years. Edwards is an integral part of the bridge inspection unit that coordinates county work forces to rehabilitate and replace structures throughout the District. He is being recognized for his efforts to keep key bridge projects moving through the various stages of design and construction.
"Over the years, Dave's hard work has saved the Department thousands of dollars by coordinating the design and construction of bridges done with department maintenance forces," said Jim Andrews, Acting District Bridge Engineer. "Dave knows how to get the job done and on time. He is an excellent employee."
Edwards lives in Ford City with his wife, Susan. They have six adult children and three grandchildren. He enjoys spending his spare time in hunting.
Everyone at District 10 would like to congratulate Dave Edwards for his excellent work and service to the Commonwealth.
