New traffic signal to be operational at Wayne Avenue/Hospital Road in Indiana County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that a new traffic signal will be operational at the intersection of Wayne Avenue/Hospital Road in Indiana County.
The signal is expected to be operational at 9:00 am on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. The signal is part of the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Center (KCAC) project. Testing of the signal will be performed.
Crews will be working in the project area and motorists are advised to slow down, to use caution, and to be alert to changing conditions in the project area. Delays and congestion are possible.
This work is part of a Highway Occupancy Permit project for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Center. Mascaro Construction Company of Pittsburgh is performing the work.
