Indiana, Pa. - PennDOT Engineering District 10 announces that construction bids were recently opened for a preservation contract for bridges along Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County.
The apparent low bidder for the project was Gregori Construction and Engineering Inc. of Sarver with a bid amount of $617,617. Seven bids were received for the project. Work will include concrete beam rehabilitation and deck replacement on four bridges over Sugar Creek between the Allegheny River and Queenstown Road (Route 4002).
The bids, opened in Harrisburg, will be reviewed to ensure all necessary specifications are met, and then the contract itself will be awarded to the low bidder who adequately meets those specifications.
