Indiana, Pa. – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that Cliff Street, Center Avenue and Walker Avenue will be closed as part of the State Route (SR) 356, Wayne Avenue Bridge Project, effective Monday, September 22, 2008 through Monday, November 17, 2008 . The road closure is necessary to facilitate bridge work on this project. Signs will be posted to mark the official detour.
The official detour is as follows:
• Cliff Street (southbound) – Detour through East Cunningham Street to McKean Street to East Jefferson Street (Route 68) to Main Street (Route 8) and ending back on Wayne Street.
• Cliff Street (northbound) – Detour through McKean Street to Cunningham Street (Route 68) and ending back on Cliff Street.
• Center Avenue – Detour through Wayne Street (Route 356) to South McKean Street.
• Walker Avenue – Detour through Brugh Avenue to Fairview Avenue.
