Grafton Bridge Project to resume in Indiana County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that work will resume on the rehabilitation project of the Grafton Bridge on State Route (SR) 3011, Campbell’s Mill Road over Blacklick Creek in Black Lick Township, Indiana County.
The bridge is scheduled to close Monday, April 4, 2011, and a posted detour will be in place for the duration of the project. The project is expected to be completed before the end of September.
The detour uses SR 3013, Blacklick Road to SR 217 to SR 22 to SR 119.
The Grafton Bridge is located on SR 3011 in Black Lick Township between the SR 3013 (Blacklick Road) and SR 119 intersections. Work will include deck replacement, minor approach work, and other miscellaneous construction.
A temporary signal is scheduled to be in place on the Campbell’s Mill Bridge sometime this Spring. The bridge will be painted, completing the rehabilitation work that began in 2010.
This $4.51 million project provides rehabilitation to Campbell’s Mill Bridge and the Grafton Bridge with work being completed by Russell Standard Corp. of Bridgeville, Allegheny County.
