Jefferson County, PA (September 26) - PennDOT Engineering District 10 is pleased to announce that construction bids for phase I and II of the Brookville Safe Routes to School project in Brookville Borough, Jefferson County, were opened Thursday, September 21, 2006.

The apparent low bidder for the project is C.H. & D. Enterprises Inc. of New Stanton, PA, with a bid amount of $549,894.30. Five bids were received for the project.
