PENNDOT ANNOUNCES FRANKLIN ROAD PAVING BEGINS MONDAY



Lane restrictions and closures will be necessary

Butler County, PA (June 2) ? PennDOT Engineering District 10 is pleased to announce that construction activities to resurface Route 3021 (Franklin Road) in Cranberry Township, Butler County, will begin, weather permitting, on Monday, June 6, 2005.
The project will resurface Franklin Road from the Butler/Allegheny County line to Route 228. Work will be performed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and is expected to take two weeks to complete.
Motorists should expect possible delays, lane restrictions, and changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area. PennDOT asks that motorists use caution and patience and remember that work zone safety is everyone's responsibility.
The Franklin Road resurfacing work is part of the $1.6 million Surface Improvement (SI) contract "B" for Butler County. The prime contractor for the project is the IA Construction Corp. of Concordville, PA.
