Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that State Route 4006, Reesedale Road, is scheduled to open in mid-November. The road closure was part of the Cowan Station Bridge replacement project over the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
SR 4006 (Reesedale Road) has been closed near the intersection with SR 268 and a detour has been in effect.
The new Cowan Station Bridge on SR 268 is open and the old structure will be removed the first part of November. The structure is located between SR 4006 (Reesedale Road) and Fahlor Road in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
This $2.18 million bridge replacement project is being completed by Mekis Construction Corp., of Fenelton, Butler County.
