Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that the Mahood Road Bridge was closed yesterday. The bridge is located on State Route (SR) 4002, Mahood Road in Clay Township, Butler County.
The bridge closed on March 23, 2011, due to structural damage due to deterioration.
The bridge carries SR 4002, Mahood Road, over the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad.
A posted detour is in place using SR 308 North to SR 138 West to SR 8 South to SR 4002, Mahood Road.
There are no details regarding when the bridge will be reopened.
