Road Closure on SR 217 to remove Railroad Bridge in Indiana County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that State Route (SR) 217 (Walnut Street) and the Maple Avenue/Decker Street approach to SR 217 will be closed to remove a railroad bridge over SR 217.
Beginning, Friday, September 10, 2010, at 8:00 pm, SR 217 (Walnut Street) and the Maple Avenue/Decker Street approach to SR 217 will be closed. The closure will be in place until Monday, September 13, 2010, at 6:00 am.
A posted detour will be in place using SR 1016 (Market Street) and SR 2001 (Old Route 22).
Gregori Construction and Engineering of Sarver will be removing the railroad bridge over SR 217. This is a 24-hour operation.
