Indiana, Pa. - PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that on Friday, July 10, 2009, bridge beams will be set on the Smicksburg Bridge replacement project over Little Mahoning Creek in both Smicksburg Borough and West Mahoning Township, Indiana County. As a result of setting these beams, there will be longer than typical traffic delays up to 15 minutes in length. This is a one-day activity.
Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. They are also asked to slow down and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed.
This is a $2.19 million project with work being completed by Clearwater Construction.
