INDIANA - PennDOT Engineering District 10 announced today that another American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project has been awarded in Jefferson County.
PennDOT awarded Quaker Sales, of Johnstown, Cambria County, a $684,071 contract to resurface State Route (SR) 436 through Young Township and Punxsutawney Borough between the intersections of SR 119 and SR 36 - approximately two miles in length.
Overall this year, PennDOT will award 31 ARRA projects totaling $65.3 million in the five-county District 10 area, which includes Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana and Jefferson counties.
