Traffic Restrictions in Place on State Route 422 in Armstrong County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that single-lane restrictions will be in place on State Route (SR) 422 as part of the SR 422 resurfacing, restoration and rehabilitation project in East and West Franklin Townships and Worthington Borough in Armstrong County.
Beginning, June 13 at 7 am, single-lane restrictions will be in place on SR 422 between SR 268 and SR 3011 (Bear Road). Work will include milling and resurfacing, drainage, guiderail upgrades and shoulder work. The restrictions will be in place for the duration of the project.
Motorists are advised to slow down, to be alert to changing conditions, and to use caution in the work zone.
This $2,539,258 project is for the resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation of SR 422. Work is being completed by IA Construction Corporation of Zelienople, Butler County, and is expected to be completed by mid-October.
