Jefferson County, PA (March 15) - PennDOT Engineering District 10 is announcing that a public plans display will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2005, for the Route 28 Hazen 3R (reconstruction, rehabilitation and resurfacing) project in Pine Creek and Warsaw townships, Jefferson County. The plans display will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Warsaw Township Fire Hall on Route 28.
The overall project, designed to improve safety and mobility, will improve 3 miles of Route 28 from the Pine Creek/Warsaw Township line to Hazen. In addition to resurfacing and repairs, new guide rail and drainage will be added to Route 28. Thursday's plans display will address specific right-of-way issues on a 1.07 mile section of Route 28 between Mayes Road and Greenawalt Road.
