State Route 422 will open to normal traffic next week in Indiana County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that beginning on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, State Route (SR) 422 from the SR 422/SR 954 (South 6th Street) interchange in White Township, east to the SR 422/SR 553 interchange in Cherryhill Township, will open to normal traffic.
The traffic restrictions will be lifted, but some short-term, daylight lane restrictions may be in place to finish the project. Motorists should turn on headlights, slow down, and exercise caution when travelling through the work zones.
Work on the project included concrete patching, bituminous overlay, shoulder paving, guiderail and drainage upgrades.
This $5,217,252 pavement preservation project awarded to Derry Construction Company, Inc., is located on SR 422 from the SR 422/SR 954 (South 6th Street) interchange in White Township east to the SR 422/SR 553 interchange in Cherryhill Township. |
