|Traffic Stoppages on State Route 356 Freeport Bridge Project Next Week in Armstrong, Butler, and Westmoreland Counties|
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that traffic stoppages will occur on State Route (SR) 356 next week as part of the SR 356 Freeport Bridge and ramp project in Armstrong, Butler, and Westmoreland Counties.
Traffic will be stopped on SR 356 in both directions at least twice between mid-morning and mid-afternoon one day next week. The bearings will be jacked up on the northern end of the SR 356 bridge over the Allegheny River for bearing replacement work. The stoppages are expected to occur either Wednesday, July 27, or Thursday, July 28. It is possible that stoppages may occur on Friday, July, 29 due to unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists should be aware of changing conditions and be prepared to follow the directions of the flaggers.
