Indiana, Pa. – PennDOT Engineering District 10 announces that construction bids were recently opened for the Indiana County Bridge Preventative Maintenance Project.
The apparent low bidder for the project was R.L. Johnson Construction Corp. of Bakerstown with a bid amount of $914,775,85. Six bids were received for the project, which includes preventative maintenance repairs to the following bridges in Indiana County:
• Route 85 in Rayne Township south of the Route 4006 (Ambrose Road) intersection.
• Route 85 in South Mahoning Township just north of the Washington Township line.
• Route 422 over Yellow Creek in Cherryhill Township.
The bids, opened in Harrisburg, will be reviewed to ensure all necessary specifications are met, and then the contract itself will be awarded to the low bidder who adequately meets those specifications. |
