Indiana, Pa. - PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that temporary concrete barriers will be placed on Pfeifer Road as part of the I-79 Bridge Preventative Maintenance Project in Butler County from Tuesday, September 2, to Thursday, October 16, 2008. The concrete barriers are necessary to provide a safe work location while crews are performing preventative maintenance work to bridge columns and piers for the I-79 overpass.
Motorists are advised to anticipate minor delays and be prepared to stop. They are also asked to slow down and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed.
