PLANS DISPLAY SCHEDULED FOR BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE SUPERSTRUCTURE PROJECT



Indiana, Pa. - PennDOT Engineering District 10 will hold a public plans display from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008, for the Ben Franklin Bridge Superstructure Replacement Project. The plans display will be held in open house format at the Ben Franklin Elementary School, 95 Ben Franklin Road, Indiana.

The purpose of the display is to present preliminary plans for the project to replace the superstructure of the bridge that carries Route 4422 over a tributary to McCarthy Run in White Township, Indiana County. The project will also include the replacement of the Radio Tower Bridge deck on Route 286.

PennDOT representatives will be available to gather input and address questions or concerns brought by the public. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area or comments on potential impacts to historic resources is asked to attend.
