Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that a 24-hour closure will begin on the State Route (SR) 1025 Putneyville Road Bridge project May 31. The bridge carries a single lane of traffic over the Mahoning Creek in Mahoning Township, Armstrong County.
Beginning, Thursday, May 31, at 1:00 pm, and ending Friday, June 1, at 1:00 pm, this closure will be in place at the bridge carrying SR 1025 over the Mahoning Creek in Mahoning Township.
The bridge will be closed for the final concrete pour; the 24-hour period is needed for the concrete to cure.
During the week of June 4 through June 8 there will be day-light closures, with the Contractor paving the bridge with an asphalt overlay.
This $339,339 bridge rehabilitation project includes removal of the steel grid decking, installation of a replacement decking and other miscellaneous construction. The work is being completed by Gregori Construction and Engineering, Inc., of Sarver, Butler County. |
