|Traffic Pattern Changes on State Route 4032 (Philadelphia Street) for Bridge Replacement Project in Indiana Borough, Indiana County |
Indiana – Residents in PennDOT Engineering District 10, is advising motorists that traffic pattern changes will be in place on State Route (SR) 4032 (Philadelphia Street) in Indiana Borough, Indiana County, for a bridge replacement.
Beginning Friday, April 20, traffic patterns will shift, lanes will be narrowed, and a 10-foot width restriction will be in place. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on SR 4032 (Philadelphia Street). The traffic changes will be in place for the replacement of the bridge on SR 4032 (Philadelphia Street) near the intersection with 15th Street in Indiana Borough. These traffic patterns will be in place for several weeks.
Motorists are urged to slow down, minimize distractions and to use extreme caution when traveling on SR 4032 (Philadelphia Street) near the 15th Street intersection.
This $1,714,062 bridge replacement project is being completed by Horizon Construction Group, Inc. The bridge on SR 4032 (Philadelphia Street) near the 15th Street intersection in Indiana Borough and the bridge on SR 4032 near the intersection with Mill Run Drive in White Township will be replaced as part of the project. The bridges are expected to open to normal traffic before the end of October.
