Milling and Paving Work in Ford City/Ford Cliff Area to Begin in Armstrong County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that milling and paving will be performed on State Route (SR) 2016 (Hill Road) and SR 66 in the Ford City Borough/Ford Cliff area. The work is expected to begin the week of
June 4.
Flagger controlled, single lane traffic will be in place. Motorists should expect congestion and delays in the project area. PennDOT reminds motorists to slow down, minimize distractions, and to obey flaggers. Please drive responsibly in the work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
Work includes pavement patching, drainage work, asphalt paving, sidewalk and curbs (SR 28 in New Bethlehem), and other miscellaneous construction.
This $1,784,265 resurfacing project is being completed by Tresco Paving Corporation of Pittsburgh. The project includes paving operations on SR 66 in Ford City Borough, Ford Cliff, and Manor Township, SR 2016 (Hill Road) in Ford City Borough, SR 28 in South Bethlehem Borough, SR 3128 (Ford City Road) in Cadogan and South Buffalo Townships, SR 1016 (Calhoun School Road) in Wayne Township, SR 85, 839, and SR 1042(Main Street/Clearfield Pike) in Cowanshannock Township, and curb and sidewalk on SR 28 in New Bethlehem Borough.
