Work to Begin on State Route 322 in Clarion County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that rehabilitation work is beginning on State Route (SR) 322 in Clarion Township, Clarion County.
Work on approximately two miles of SR 322 between Clarion Limestone School Road and the I-80 interchange will include patching, drainage, resurfacing, and guide rail updates.
Tree trimming and/or removal will be performed in PennDOT’s legal right-of-way, that is 30 feet from the roadway centerline in both directions. Any brush, shrubs, limbs, or trees in the right-of-way will be trimmed or removed.
Drainage operations will include repairs or replacement to damaged drainage systems and cleaning outlet pipe ditch lines to drain water from the roadway.
Daytime, single lane restrictions controlled by flaggers will be in place to facilitate work on this project. Congestion and delays are possible.
PennDOT reminds motorists to slow down, minimize distractions, and to be alert to changing conditions in the work zone. Drive responsibly in work zones and obey flaggers and other traffic control devices for your safety and the safety of the workers.
Work on this $1,021,000 preventative maintenance project is being completed by Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., and is expected to be completed by the end of September. |
