Traffic Pattern Changes Planned for Bridge on State Route 38 in Concord Township, Butler County
Indiana – PennDOT Engineering District 10 is advising motorists that a traffic pattern change will occur at the bridge carrying State Route (SR) 38 over Pine Run in Oakland Township.
Beginning, Monday, July 23, traffic will shift to the other side of the bridge to facilitate continued work on the superstructure replacement. The traffic will continue to be controlled by the temporary signals until the work is completed.
Motorists are reminded to drive responsibly in work zones and to obey all traffic control devices. Remember to be alert to changing conditions, minimize distractions, and slow down in work zones.
The detour continues to be in place on SR 38 for the bridge over the Little Connoquenessing in Concord Township. Valley Road is closed at SR 38, and a detour using Valley Road to Melody Road to Stephanie Road to Clark Road to SR 38 is in place.
For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, access PennDOT District 10’s website at www.dot.state.pa.us/district10.
This $2,197,635 bridge superstructure replacement for the bridge on SR 38 over Pine Run and the total replacement of the bridge on SR 38 over the Little Connoquenessing is being completed by Clearwater Construction, Inc. The project is expected to be completed in October.
