The outbound (eastbound) Parkway East (I-376) will be reduced to single lane in the Municipality of Monroeville, Allegheny County, May 7-11 weather permitting.
Crews will be milling and paving the approaches to the new bridge that carries the outbound Parkway East over Business Route 22 (Route 2048) between the Monroeville off-ramp (Exit 84A) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Exit 85). Lane closures will occur from 9 p.m. each night through 2 p.m. the following day as needed Monday through Thursday nights through Friday afternoon. Restrictions will be removed before afternoon rush hour periods begin.
|The $19 million Parkway East (I-376) project milling and resurfacing the outbound lanes and interchange ramps, drainage, guide rail and end treatments, shoulders, bridge preservation work, acceleration and deceleration ramp lengthening, signing and pavement markings, highway lighting and other improvements on 4.48 miles of I-376 (Penn Lincoln Highway) in Churchill Borough, Wilkins Township, and the municipalities of Penn Hills and Monroeville.
