SECTION 1003 — DOWEL HOLES

1003.1 DESCRIPTION — This work is the drilling of holes for dowels and the grouting of the dowels in place.

1003.2 MATERIAL —

Nonshrink Mortar — Section 1001.2(e)

1003.3 CONSTRUCTION — Drill holes for dowels at the locations indicated and to the indicated diameter and depth.
Grout the dowels in place, using nonshrink mortar, in a manner to complete bonding of the dowels in the holes.
Satisfactorily repair structure damage caused by dowel operations.
