You should be aware that your wireless service may charge you a small fee for each received text message. You may want to check with your wireless company on possible fees and you should also check whether text messaging is blocked on your phone.
The text messages will be limited to only traffic alerts concerning non-interstates and expressways in PennDOT District 4 which includes Lackawanna, Luzerne, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming counties in Northeastern PA.
Also be aware that messages will primarily be sent Monday through Friday during working hours.
If you select the ALL option, you may find that you are receiving more messages than anticipated, we can alter your preferences by county and/or interstate.
