Route 65 Improvements Continue Monday in Beaver County

Pittsburgh, PA

PennDOT District 11 is announcing work to improve Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) in Beaver County will continue on Monday, June 11 weather permitting.

Crews will be sealing pavement joints. Short-term, intermittent lane closures will occur from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays as needed through June 22.

The $4.35 million, 9.4 mile project includes concrete patching, base repairs, guide rail, sign and signal upgrades and micro-resurfacing on Route 65 from Allegheny County to Route 18 (Near the Beaver-Rochester Bridge). The prime contractor is the Russell Standard Corporation. Overall work will conclude this spring.

PennDOT is advising motorists to allow extra time and be prepared for changing traffic patterns.
