Route 3039 Nike Site Road Bridge Repairs begin Monday in Collier Township

Pittsburgh, PA

PennDOT District 11 is announcing work to install protective shielding under the bridge that carries Nike Site Road (Route 3039) over Robinson Run in Collier Township, Allegheny County, will begin on Monday, July 7, weather permitting.

Shoulder closures will occur weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. as crews from Lone Pine Construction install shoring and shielding to the underside of the bridge deck. Occasional single lane alternating traffic will occur as needed. Work will occur weekdays through Friday, July 18.

Motorists are advised to use caution, slow down and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area. Visit 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
