Westbound I-376 Parkway West Project Begins Wednesday in Rosslyn Farms

Pittsburgh, PA

PennDOT is announcing a $3.72 million improvement project on westbound I-376 (Parkway West) in Rosslyn Farms Borough, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, July 9 weather permitting.

Single lane closures will occur on westbound I-376 between the Rosslyn Farms (Exit 64-B) off-ramp and the Interstate 79 (Exit 64-A) interchange on Wednesday and Thursday, July 9-10 as crews from Swank Construction Company, LLC install traffic control signs.

A long term closure of the right shoulder will begin on Monday, July 14. Three lanes of westbound traffic will be restriped and maintained between Rosslyn Farms and I-79 during the project.

Additionally, two full overnight closures will occur during the project. Traffic will be detoured. The closures have not been scheduled.

Work includes milling, shoulder reconstruction, drainage improvements, sound barrier installation, sign updates, overhead sign structure and ITS replacement, pavement markings and other miscellaneous construction. Also, an additional westbound lane on I-376 will be constructed approaching the I-79 interchange. Overall work will conclude in the spring of 2015.
