Route 288 Main Street Improvement Work begins Monday in Wampum Borough

Pittsburgh, PA

PennDOT District 11 is announcing work to improve Main Street (Route 288) in Wampum Borough, Lawrence County, will begin Monday, July 14 weather permitting.

Crews from the Joseph B. Fay Company will conduct roadway reconstruction, drilling and other miscellaneous construction. Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, traffic will be reduced to a single lane on Main Street between Route 18 and Darlington Road around-the-clock through Friday, Aug. 1. Flaggers will control traffic.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
