Route 837 Lane Closures Tuesday and Wednesday near Kennywood in West Mifflin
Pittsburgh, PA
PennDOT District 11 is announcing single lane traffic on Route 837 (Duquesne/Kennywood Boulevard) in West Mifflin Borough, Allegheny County, will occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 19-20 weather permitting. Crews will temporarily remove the concrete median on the bridge that carries Route 837 over railroad tracks between Herman Avenue and Hoffman Boulevard. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction (center lanes closed) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days in the bridge area. The work is included in a $1.3 million contract with Lone Pine Construction, Inc. of Bentleyville, PA, for improvements on several bridges in PennDOT District 11. PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
