| Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority to Close Route 313 (Swamp Road) One Weekend for Sewer Installation |

The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will close Route 313 (Swamp Road) between Ferry and Saw Mill Road in Plumstead and Doylestown townships, Bucks County from 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17 for sewer installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
During construction, Route 313 (Swamp Road) through traffic will be detoured over Ferry Road/Point Pleasant Pike, Route 413 and Cold Spring Creamery Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
The contractor working for the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will work during the weekend to drill and blast rock to install the new sewer main.
The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will complete the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
