Project Description :
| This bridge project is for the rehabilitation of a four span continuous riveted steel buildup girder bridge built in 1953 over Black Lick Creek. Work will include concrete deck replacement, abutment repairs, and other miscellaneous construction. This project is located on SR 217 at the border line of Burrell Township and Black Lick Township, approximately 1.5 miles north of the SR 217 / SR 3009 (Newport Road) intersection. There will be a roadway detour setup for the project during construction. See the schedule and restrictions link for detour information. Motorists are asked to slow down, turn on headlights, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones and detour routes. |
