Project Description :
| This project is for the construction of a new access road to expand the Indiana Regional Medical Center Campus for new and additional healthcare services in White Township, Indiana County. SR 954 (6th Street) will be widened and a northbound left turn lane and traffic signal will be constructed along with other miscellaneous construction. The new intersection will be located approximately 0.2 miles north of the SR 954/SR 4005 (Indiana Springs Road) intersection. |

| During construction, shoulders will be widened on SR 954 to accommodate lane shifts. Two 10’ lanes of traffic will be maintained on SR 954 by shifting traffic to the widened shoulders. Two-way flagging operations will be used at the beginning and end of the project to direct traffic. See the Schedule and Restrictions link for current project information. The anticipated completion date is 10/08/2010. |

| Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. Motorists are also asked to turn on headlights, slow down, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed. |
