Project Description :
| This project is for the removal of several beams on the Norfolk Southern Railroad Overpass and other miscellaneous construction. The overpass is located overtop of SR 217 (Walnut Street) in Blairsville, Borough, Indiana County just south of SR 22 (William Penn Highway) between the Penn Street and Maple Avenue intersections. |

| SR 217 Walnut Street will be closed with a posted detour in place during the beam removal. The closure will take effect starting Friday September 24 at 8:00PM. The roadway is expected to be back open to traffic on Monday September 27 at 6:00AM. |

| The posted detours routes are SR 217 (Walnut Street) to SR 22 (William Penn Highway) to SR 2002 (Market Street) to SR 217 (Walnut Street). |

| Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. Motorists are also asked to turn on headlights, slow down, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed. |
