Project Description :
| This project is for the improvement of the SR 8 (William Flinn Highway) and SR 3007 (South Benbrook Road) intersection in Center Township, Butler County. Currently 9,526 vehicles travel through the intersection on SR 8 (William Flinn Highway) and 3,948 vehicles on SR 3007 (South Benbrook Road). Improvements to the intersection include the realignment of SR 3007 (South Benbrook Road), installation of a turning lane, traffic signals, and other miscellaneous construction. |

| Motorist should expect delays as flagging operations will be used to control traffic through the work zone . On SR 8 (William Flinn Highway), two way traffic will be maintained Monday thru Friday between 6-9am & 3-6pm unless directed by inspector in charge. During non-working hours, two 11’ travel lanes will be maintained on SR 8 (William Flinn Highway). |

| The roadway portion of the project is expected to be completed on 09/30/2010. The traffic signal installation and testing is expected to be completed by 03/01/2011. |

| Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. Motorists are also asked to turn on headlights, slow down, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed. |
