Project Description :
| This is a 2.59 mile Safety Improvement project from approximately the Clarion/Venango County line proceeding east to approximately ½ mile past the SR 322/ SR338 intersection in Ashland Township, Clarion County. Improvements to be made include: Flatten both horizontal and vertical curves, improve sight distance, widen travel lanes, widen and pave shoulders, lay back all slopes, and install new drainage and guide rail where needed and other miscellaneous construction. Traffic will be controlled by flagging operations and vehicle lane shift. See the Schedule and Restrictions link for current project information. The anticipated completion date is 09/03/2010. Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. Motorists are also asked to turn on headlights, slow down, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed. |
