Project Description :
| This is a 2.65 mile long project involving superpave overlay, minor drainage work, guiderail upgrade and other miscellaneous construction on SR 36 (Colonel Drake Highway) in Oliver Township, Jefferson County. The project will start approximately 5.1 miles north of Punxsutawney from the SR 36 / T-383 (Reitz Road) intersection and extend north to the SR 36/T-389 (Cemetery Hill Road) intersection. This section of roadway carries an estimated average daily traffic of 4,193 vehicles. The last major resurfacing of this section of roadway occurred in 2001. |

| During construction, two-way flagging operations will be used to limit traffic to one lane though the work zone. Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. Motorists are also asked to turn on headlights, slow down, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed.
