Project Description :
This project is for the replacement of the existing structure which carries SR 3009 (Claypoole Road) over a tributary to Glade Run in East Franklin Township, Armstrong county. This road currently serves an average daily traffic of approximately 397 vehicles. The existing structure will be replaced with a 9ft x 9ft x 82ft precast culvert with precast ends.

Terre Hill Silo. Co., Inc (dba: Terre Hill Concrete Products) is the prime contractor on this project. The expected materials cost for this project is approximately $95,678.

A detour route is expected to be in place from the start of construction until mid or late July. This detour route is SR 422 (Benjamin Franklin Hwy) to SR 3007 (Glade Run Road).

Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and be prepared to stop. Motorists are also asked to turn on headlights, slow down, and exercise caution when traveling through work zones. As the need applies, flag crews will direct traffic while work is being performed.
