How to Cross Safely

Walk out of the danger zone.
Carefully get off the bus and walk out of the Danger Zone -- that's 10 feet away from the bus!

Make eye contact with the driver.
To get across safely, make eye contact with the bus driver before you begin to cross the road.

Look for oncoming vehicles.
When the driver lets you know it's safe to go, keep looking for oncoming vehicles while crossing the road.

Safe crossing!
When you get to the other side of the road, let your driver know you crossed safely!
